to make sure no-one else is attempting to register with Marcoland using your e-mail address.
We keep a track of visited pages within Marcoland for statistical purposes, but we do not disclose any of this information to our users, it's a completely anonymous way to collect information and prevent cheating.
Your e-mail, your password and your IP address are collected and kept for safety and anti-cheating purposes. Marcoland
will never give out this information unless you give us explicit authorization beforehand.
A cookie is sent to your PC to keep track of sessions and keep it alive, the cookie is deleted once you leave Marcoland.
A cookie is a little file your browser will collect from Marcoland. Any cookies created by Marcoland will not harm your PC in any way, the only information stored in these cookies is regarding your current Marcoland session and in no way can be
retrieved for any other means - it just lets you play the game.
II. How we use or share the information we collect.
The only reason we collect information, is to allow you to play the game. Any and all information given to us is kept solely within Marcoland bounds and are not given to third party companies for marketing purposes. Your e-mail address forms part of your log-on details, and is a way of allowing us to send you your password should you forget it. Admins can check your ip and e-mail address to prevent cheating, but all information is treat with the strictest of confidence. Anyone found breaking these rules will be punished according to the rules governing the game.

IV. How we protect your personal information.
All the information we collect are kept securely within our database. The only people with access to the game's database are Marco and Nosferatu - the game's manager and coders.
The database is password protected and the information is encrypted to help increase the security precautions in the unlikely event of the server being hacked.
V. Privacy Policy changes.
Any change in the privacy policy will be advertised on the website in the news section (found after you login). Any changes will be viewable at www.tiipsi.com/privacy.html.
