A new day has just passed, as marcolanders fill the chat room. One by one, they group together and chat about their day in Marcoland. Discussions about their gains at the mighty temple of tiipsi , and their rewards in the training beach start up Marcoland's room for chatters, as partying and celebrating commences. War commanderes of each town in Marcoland have been plotting for wars for many generations now, only to achieve the title of being the best town in Marcoland.
As hours progress after midnight, hidden under beneath miles and miles of rocks, a secret town is busy at work. The town: TEST has only been heard of only in legends, few were able to venture into the town, and come out alive. Down in the secret caverns of the town, the evil Dr. Marco, plots for the destruction of Marcoland. The jealousy Dr Marco contains inside his soul of his twin brother, Marco the Great - founder of Marcoland, enraged him long enough.
Meanwhile in Marcoland, a large war between DnD and TG was happenning, to prove once and for all which town was stronger. Midway through the battle, the ground rumbles. The dead souls on the ground start to move... as if something big... large was coming! All attention of Marcoland shifts towards a distant sound. As the image of a large demon approches, all the dead bodies on the battlefield of DnD vs TG, starts to raise, and become half man half dead creatures- undead!!! . Warriors fight for their lives as the demon approches against the undead. Nothing seems to be killing them, nor does the whole event seem to be clear to anyone.
As the people of Marcoland begin to worry, many people search for the sheriff and holy people of Marcoland, the people that run the land. As the townspeople approch the holy temple of tiipsi, Marco the Great, along with his loyal holy workers of Marcoland, step out, only to show that for some strange reason, all their strength has been stripped away from them. Warriors die, and buildings are being destroyed, along with towns in ruins.
Days pass by, with no new news as of who or what the demon is, or what he wants. Prayers made to tiipsi were made, only to have un-responsiveness from our God. All wars and invasions have been stopped, for who knows what the demon wants. The best thing the Marcolanders knew not to do, was to fight each other, but to try and fight this demon and his undead army. Marco, who has been trying to contact tiipsi for days, finally seems to receive a sign from our God.
"I have receieved news from our holy god Tiipsi. This demon, this thing has been sent to us by a mysterious force, a force far greater than any warrior in marcoland. All of my powers as well as the holy workers of Tiipsi have been stripped away. The only chance of getting rid of this demon, whos name is Narchanthel, is to defeat him in a town war. I will try to contact Tiipsi more and more, to see if his powers will help us destroy Narchanthel, but the rest is up to you, the Marcolanders. We must bond together, and defeat this evil demon!!!"
As Marco the great finished his public announcement, marcolanders quickly gathered their equipment and belongings and headed off to group in a single town. The fellowship of towns was formed on what was previously known as DnD. Preperations are made just before the war, for the people of Marcoland knew it was going to be an intense battle. Suddenly out of no where, a large meteror smashes into the temple of tiipsi. At a distance, the sound of Narchanthel's wicked laugh was heard...
Not far away, a foreign warrior, a strong one, decides to venture off of the towns, and escape the destruction of Narchanthel. The warrior, Mesona was his name, decides to venture off into the deep dungeons. After days and days of exploring the dungeon... he finds a note... a small note stating that the secret of beating Narchanthel, was in the dungeon. Quickly, mesons rushes to the people of Marcoland, and explains his findings. Not long after, Marcoland quickly establishes a search crew in the dungeons, searching every corridor of the dungeon for any more clues. As the crew getes deeper and deeper into the dungeon, the more dangerous it got. Monsters of all sizes and strength attacked the warriors, as well as a familiar creature, the undead appeared. Mesona KNEW the source of evil wasin the dungeons of Marcoland.
At last, Mesona and his brave crew venture into a large dark door. When opened, they discovered the legendary town of Test... inside, they found the undead king, DR. MARCO! After long fights, the crew was able to bring down Dr.Marco. His falling, lead to the weakening of the undead force.
Meanwhile in Marcoland, narchanthel approched closer and closer to FoT. People of all towns gathered to create a force Marcoland has never seen before. Warriors, prepare themselves for the fight of their lives, as they draw their swords. As the undead forces get weaker and weaker, the warriors of Marcoland charged at the undead army and Narchanthel.
The battle commenced for several hours, several hard fought deadly hours. Alas, the people of Marcoland overcame the impossible, they defeated Narchanthel. The death of narchanthel restores the temple of tiipsi as well as the powers of marco and his workers. Parties are thrown to celebrate the victorious day... as marcoland has learnt to work together.
The war against Evil, seen trough the eyes of a small leprechaun.
It must have been a few dozen days ago that I set my first steps in this beautiful land, and as my birth name was the Whitelady I started out with slaying some goblins in a place called the training zone, cleansing the world from those evil greenskins should be anyone’s first priority... While I was trying on my first set of wool gloves I bought from the armoury, I turned my attention towards all those different towns and villages, in search of that place blessed with an enlightened and worthy cause to follow. As I was checking out the towns I soon came across a place called Pestilence and I hated it on sight. Such a doomed place, if there ever was a place that needed a spark of the White Light inside, it was that dark foul pit of fuming hell. Looked like a strange town to me, because as I was peeking trough the city gates I saw no one walking the streets! Very strange indeed… The next day, when I came back to this land, I saw that one of the towns I’ve taken an interest in was completely overthrown by the wicked leader of that awful pestilence town. He called himself Narchanthel and suddenly Evil had its true name in Marcoland. After that first conquered town not many people believed this awakened evil was a real treat to their nation, but soon after one of the strongest towns felt to his army of undead, panic started to spread throughout the land. People from every city started talking about what the hell was happening and more important, what could be done to stop this madman and his undead siblings. A great discussion between lots of people had place, yet no one really had a solution to the tread. Some people wanted to join forces and invade Pestilence itself, others reacted rather fatalistic and started the greatest party ever in remembrance of better times, even some rumours spread around that the answer would be found in the dungeon. So at first nothing really happened, it was all just a lot of talking… And then the message was spread throughout the towns and villages, Narch challenged the land itself and any inhabitant to a duel! He vowed to take over every city, one by one, until he had conquered all and everyone would be enslaved for the rest of his meagre existence!
Suddenly things where speeding up really fast. A lot of people united themselves in one great town, hoping that strength will come in numbers and unity will proof to be the victorious answer against this awful evil. Of course I enlisted myself in the united towns, although I was not sure of what my rusty dagger could do against those undead creatures from hell. Another thing kept bothering me, nobody seemed to do anything about those rumours about the dungeon. And I, as so many newbie’s in this land, with just enough strength and puny weapons to seriously get my white ass kicked by a stupid hobgoblin passing by, felt pretty useless in everything that was going on. Searching trough the different taverns, I found a group of people already trying to convince the strongest of marcoland to join forces in an attempt to unravel the secrets of the dungeon. I tried to help them by talking to those strong ones myself, but of course I was like a leprechaun trying to get a message trough to a bunch of buldering giants above my head. Nothing really happened about the dungeon and towns kept falling, time was running out!
So I decided to do what leprechauns do best… I started a rumour under the name of Whitelady, about a certain Light to be found in the dungeon and immediately after that I left the land. Only to return the next day as The White Unicorn and to start a rumour about a sword of light buried deep down in the dungeon. I kept on doing this a few times, went from white unicorn to white dragon and so on, in the hope that the message would reach some of the major people in Marcoland. I’m not sure if I made any difference, I like to think I did, but within two days, the group already interested in the dungeon stepped forward, joined forces with some of the strongest people in Marcoland and stormed through the dungeon like a knife through butter. Soon there came an answer from within the dungeon, an undead creature left a message that “only united we would prevail”! The message was passed among the people in all the towns that still stood tall, and many more joined the united town! Meanwhile, as the dungeon was forced to give up it’s secrets, other great heroes where coordinating the enormous funds and metals, donated by so many brave inhabitants, to craft the strongest armour and the sharpest weapons. Under firm leadership, the strongest army ever walked the soil of Marcoland was build between the walls of the united town. Forgotten where the grudges of former years, forgotten the years of wars and battles, all was finally erased by the stench of this great Evil and his undead. And when the hour of the final battle was there, the people of marcoland stood united, side by side, and as a white rock of justice resisted the flood of undead, destroyed its foul leader and threw him back to his doomed dimension, together with what was left from his once powerful undead army… In the next days, lot’s of people returned to its former towns and villages and went back to whatever they where doing before all this. But everybody knew marcoland would never be the same again, the unity was printed in everybody’s mind an d if tomorrow a new evil would arise and things would get ugly again, the united army will rise again and strike down hard! As for this leprechaun, I’ve joined a town and started my extensive training, the next time I won’t be wielding that stupid rusty dagger…
In our great land, there are many towns… One of the best known of them all is a mysterious one. Few have ever been within its sacred walls. Within, many odd experiments are carried out by a person known as Marco.
On a fair day, just like many others, the citizens of the realm rose from their beds and prepared for a new day. Unbeknownst to these people, while they rose from their slumber, a great evil had risen from its slumber as well.
Within a matter of minutes a dark castle emerged next to Marco’s town. The halls of this citadel were empty, yet at the same time, quite full. Deep within its chambers, the lord, Narchantel, phased into existence.
He walked through the halls and the shadows turned into an undead hoard. Narchantel said in a calm tone, “The people in this land are weak. They fight amongst themselves like barbarians. This land is ours for the taking… There is only one person that could ever unite all of the people. Marco. This is why I have erected this castle beside his town. While the pitiful fools are still recovering from their sleep, we will attack his town. We will take Marco prisoner, and the realm will fall.”
The undead seemed to yell a cheer, but no sound could be heard.
Silently, the hoard marched out of the dark halls, and advanced on Marco.
Marco had sensed their approach, but was not worried. He stood at the gates of his town, with a content smile on his face. He was, of course, the most powerful person in the realm… He could not fall.
As the citizens of the realm were beginning their breakfasts, the first of the undead hoard entered the battlefield. Narchantel was not present. Marco wondered why the leader did not lead his army, but he had little time to think.
Before he knew it, the undead hoard was on him… He muttered a few words and bright lights could be seen throughout the land.
The citizens of the land saw them, but disregarded the lights because it was not an uncommon occurrence. They resumed their daily tasks.
Almost half of the undead were eradicated. The rest let out an inhuman wail and melted into the shadows.
Marco smiled again, and turned around to go back to his town. He opened the gates, and in his courtyard, stood Narchantel. Marco was a bit surprised and almost jumped back, but he regained his composure. He said, “How did you get in here? I did not sense you…” Narchantel replied, “You did not sense, me because I am more powerful than you. I want this realm.”
Marco was taken aback, but was unable to answer, because at that moment, he was transported to a cell deep beneath the surface. He tried every teleportation spell that he knew, but found that the cell was warded against them.
Marco let out a great sigh and sat down, resigned to his fate.
Above, Narchantel let out a great evil laugh. His armies reformed around him and let out an unearthly howl.
Everyone in the realm heard these noises, but yet again, they disregarded the signs…
Narchantel was not very pleased with the results. He had defeated the great Marco, but the land was not his. No one even knew about his accomplishments, and no one knew about him.
He became very enraged and unleashed his armies upon the land.
Unsuspecting towns were attacked. The people fought valiantly, but were unable to repulse
As town after town fell under the might of Narchantels’ undead army, he became very careless. He believed that nothing could stop him. This carelessness turned into negligence… One night Narchantel did not renew the warding on Marcos cell. Marco sensed the weakness and used up all of his energy to break the ward and teleport to the town of Raven. There, he asked Raven to unite all of the towns in a coalition assault on Narchantel.
At first, Raven was furious at the request, because not many towns were willing to talk to each other, much less fight on the same side.
Another day passed and two more towns fell to the hoard.
Raven finally gave in. He called on the leaders of every town, small or large. Weak or powerful.
He called on the people that swore allegiance to no one.He said, “My friends. In the past, we have waged great wars against each other. We fought viciously, but it is time to put it all behind us. This great evil must be banished back into the abyss that spawned it!” There were many skeptics, but they had little choice. The coalition was formed. Together they formed a town and named it, “Fellowship of the Towns”.
People of every class, every age, every race, flocked to this town. In the great halls, the leaders planned the assault on Narchantels town, Pestilence.
At the break of dawn, the brave warriors marched towards Pestilence. Deep with the halls, Narchantel waited, thinking that he would win.
Great siege engines bombarded the walls of Pestilence. As the dust settled, the undead hoard could be seen. Even the bravest of the warriors took a deep breath to calm themselves.
Raven gave a roar, and the rest of the coalition army followed suit. They charged head on, and the undead just waited.
For every undead that fell another took its place.
For every soldier that fell, 10 more took his place.
The battle was long and bloody, but in the end the coalition broke through the undead hoard.
A group of mages sat on the corners of a pentagram and chanted a great spell.
Narchantel was bound within the pentagram, and clerics of every cult surrounded him.
They held out their holy symbols and called upon their deities.
Narchantel let out a screech that no one present will ever forget, and vanished from the plane.
The war torn army collected the bodies of their fallen comrades and took them back to the coalition town.
Marco awaited them there, and used his powers to revive the fallen soldiers.
He congratulated the entire army and held a feast in the town.
Everyone was invited, and everyone attended.
After the festivities were over, everyone returned to their respective towns...
The nomads continued their wanderings...
And the fighting came back.
But, there was honor in these battles. The warriors respected eachother because of the feats that they accomplished together.
They had banished the greatest evil ever to plague the realm. Together.
